  General employment information 

Vista Irrigation District provides excellent benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, PERS retirement, life and long-term disability insurance and a deferred compensation match program. Employees receive thirteen paid holidays annually and earn fifteen days of vacation during their first year of service.

Application procedures 
All applicants will apply via our website under the "careers tab".  We NO LONGER ACCEPT paper applications.  You will need to upload your resume and cover letter on our new appilcation portal.  A resume may not be submitted in lieu of the District's employment application package. The recruitment selection process will take approximately 30-90 days. Persons selected for employment may be subject to a background investigation and drug testing. He/she will also be required to present documents establishing personal identity and the legal right to work in the United States. Vista Irrigation District’s Human Resources Department uses electronic mail (e-mail) to notify applicants of important information relating to the status and processing of employment applications.
